Gel wax is a translucent wax with the consistency of jelly. Due to the clarity of the wax, it is common to find gel candles with embellishments inside, Such as sliced dried fruits, small glass ornaments, glitter of anything that wont melt at a temperature lower than the wax. Gel wax has a higher melt point than paraffin wax and should be melted in a pot over direct heat.
We recommended using Non Polar fragrances which have a flash point above 77°C at a 3-6% load.
